Good morning, historians of East Asia!
Good news! No, not the Easter Bunny (sorry!) But over the Easter weekend I was able to work through the backlog of feedback I owed you on your projects or assignments, that was in some cases long overdue. HST267: encyclopedia entries’ feedback coming tomorrow!
- Google docs: you can find the feedback in comments, or in suggestions (I try to use italics where the doc lets me)
- Webposts: check the hypothes.is group with the course number, and make sure to check for page notes, too. (You can also refresh your memory with the quick video I did a couple of weeks ago.)
I also want to remind you that all your written work remains open for review and rewriting until May 4: yes, you can rewrite that primary source analysis 1 for a second or third time; yes, you can edit your blog post reflections to make them better; and yes, you can always go back and add feedback to a student’s blog posts in hypothes.is.
Today’s schedule:
HST107:
- 4pm Zoom session (link under the pink header on Canvas Homepage): Textbook editorial meeting: try to be there! Help to determine sequence of chapters, and the look and feel of the textbook. More info on the page for week 13 under Schedule > Tuesday.
- (anytime before midnight): Initial post on the Canvas discussion board due.
HST259:
- (anytime before midnight):
- reflection on course materials from week 12. Add to your blog in category HST259, and include the words “Week 12” in the title of your post
- Peer feedback: find two random blogs on the page for week 13, and leave feedback as requested.
